My Quilt Design

Today I am starting on my quilt. I designed it over the weekend in Photoshop with inspiration from this blog. I came up with one other design that I also like but it's a bit more busy and would be more difficult to make. It would also cost more since I would have to buy more fabric, so I opted for cheap and easy. I think the design I chose has more of a feminine feel to it which will work good for my new little girlie.

Here is the other quilt design I won't be using for this project.

All of the white material in the quilt I am making I'm actually recycling out of an old white sheet. So I'm guessing this project will end up costing me around $25. Not bad since I'll be getting exactly what I want, and I think it just means more to make something yourself rather than buying it.
